Operations Program
The Operation Program functions as a facilitating and logistical support entity to the work of the other programs, departments, and researchers which are found working in the Area. Some of its functions include, control and maintainance of machinery and vehicles, with regard to insurance, license plates, circulation permits, etc. The program is also directly responsible for the garage and gas station which function in the Pocosol sector; established to facilitate the direct services in the ACG and to speed up the activities of different users.
The planning, construction, repairs, infrastructure maintenance, maintaining the main roads in the Area, as well as elaborating and placing signs, maintaining and cleaning public areas, and coordinating meals for personnel and visitors are some of its functions. The program also has the responsibility of providing the goods and services necessary for the development of the activities programmed for all users.
