Education is a fundamental component of the Área de Conservación Guanacaste (ACG) where it is employed to increase awareness within surrounding communities of the importance of conservation and the non-destructive use of protected areas. A diverse range of programs have been created in coordination with other governmental institutions to meet the biological education needs of children and adults in neighboring communities.
